Tarot Readings

The Tarot is a deck of cards that originated over 500 years ago in Northern Italy. Although the Tarot was first used in a game called Triumphs, it was quickly adopted as a tool for divination, and popularised by occult societies such as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

The Tarot is far and away the most popular tool for spiritual introspection in the west. Tarot readings are arrangements of cards drawn from a shuffled deck. The layout of the cards is known as a spread, and determines what each card refers to.

Tarot decks consists of 78 cards, 22 of the cards are major arcana (trumps), the remaining 56cards are minor arcana and are divided into 4 suites of 14 cards each Tarot Readings can show what is significant at the moment, highlights a situation that may need looking at and its possible choices.
